2. Orders & Contract Formation

All products supplied by ōuda are made-to-measure and bespoke.

A binding contract is formed once we issue written order confirmation (including by email). Once an order has been confirmed and manufacturing has begun, it cannot be cancelled, refunded, or exchanged except where goods are faulty, incorrect, or where required by law.

3. Measurements & Specifications

Products are manufactured in accordance with the measurements and specifications either:

  • Provided by you; or

  • Approved by you following design drawings or consultations.

Where measurements or specifications are supplied or approved by you, you are responsible for their accuracy. ōuda shall not be liable where goods do not fit due to incorrect measurements or information provided or approved by you.

4. Pricing & Payment

All prices are quoted in GBP and include VAT where applicable.

Full payment is required before manufacturing commences unless otherwise agreed in writing. Payments are securely processed via Shopify Payments or other approved payment providers.

5. Delivery & Installation

Delivery dates provided are estimates only and may vary due to manufacturing schedules or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

You are responsible for ensuring safe, clear, and adequate access for delivery and installation. Any additional costs arising from restricted access or site conditions may be chargeable.

Risk in the goods passes to you upon delivery to the agreed address. Ownership of the goods passes once full payment has been received.

6. Faulty or Incorrect Goods

If goods are faulty, damaged, or not as described, you must notify us within 14 days of delivery.

We may request photographs and/or an inspection before arranging a repair, replacement, or refund. This clause does not affect your statutory rights.

7. Cancellations & Returns

As all products are made-to-measure and bespoke, we do not accept cancellations, returns, or refunds for change of mind.

This is in accordance with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, which exclude custom-made goods.

8. Guarantees

We provide the following guarantees under normal domestic use:

  • Carcasses: 10-year guarantee

  • Doors: 6-year guarantee

These guarantees cover manufacturing or structural defects and are provided in addition to your statutory consumer rights. They do not cover misuse, neglect, unauthorised alterations, or normal wear and tear.

9. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the total value of your order.

We shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of income, business, or enjoyment. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any matter which cannot be excluded by law.

10. Privacy & Data Protection

Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By placing an order, you acknowledge that we may share necessary information with trusted third parties for payment processing, delivery, and service provision.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
